If your capsule holder will not open, the issue is typically caused by either:

• A brew cycle being interrupted (e.g., due to power loss), or

• The machine being in Cleaning Mode

The behavior of the lights on your machine can help to determine the cause and the best solution:

If the brew button and all 3 beverage indicator lights are flashing white, this indicates that a cycle was interrupted due to a loss of power.

Perform the following steps:

1. Place a container under the spout (in case the machine dispenses water).

2. Tap the brew button once.

   • If there is no response, press and hold the brew button for up to 10 seconds.

3. The machine should resume and complete the interrupted cycle.

4. Once complete, the capsule holder should automatically unlock.

If only the brew button is flashing white, this indicates the machine is in Cleaning Mode.

Perform the following steps:

1. Press and hold the brew button for up to 10 seconds.

2. The machine should exit cleaning mode.

3. The capsule holder should unlock.

4. The alert light may blink blue as the machine attempts to intake water—this is expected.
