Troubleshooting: Machine Continues Dispensing Water After BrewingUpdated 4 hours ago
If your machine continues dispensing water after a brew, it has likely entered either a Purge Cycle or Cleaning Cycle. This typically occurs when the brew button is held down too long, rather than tapped:
Holding Brew Button on Still setting → Triggers a Purge Cycle
Holding Brew Button on Nitro setting → Triggers a Cleaning Cycle
Both cycles will cause the machine to dispense all water from the system.
After the machine finishes dispensing water, the lights will indicate which mode was triggered:
If the white alert light goes on or blinks blue as the machine automatically takes in more water, this indicates that the machine was in Purge Mode.
After the machine finishes dispensing all of the water, it should revert back to normal operating mode. Add new water to the machine, let it chill, then enjoy!
If the brew button blinks white and the capsule holder remains locked, this indicates that the machine is still in Cleaning Mode.
To exit out of cleaning mode, follow these steps:
Press and hold the brew button for up to 10 seconds.
The capsule holder should unlock.
The alert light will flash blue as the machine intakes water from the tank.
Once complete, the machine should return to normal operation.
